Another delightful panel that makes into an Advent Calendar to count the days until Christmas.

A must for every child – and adult – and made exra special when it is sewn especially by a loved one.

This is one of the eariser Advent Calendar panels to make up as there is very little cutting; the ‘pockets’ are formed by folding the panel, pressing into place and then stitching.

It can then be backed with wadding, or interfacing, a decorative backing fabric applied and then fished with binding. Add a means of hanging, fill the pockets with chocolates or other small items, and it is all ready.

The design is of houses, some with snow-covered roofs, on both the top panel and on the individual pockets.
Perfect for both children and adults so it is bound to become part of your Christmas celebrations and will be brought out year after year.

It can be quilted or embellished as desired, or simply leave it as it is – it is still beautiful.
