Inspired by an area of natural beauty which covers counties in England that are close to the hearts of the Lewis & Irene family.
Lewis & Irene remains a family-run business and one of the very few fabric design studios remaining in the UK. They are based in SW England.
Their love of the countryside is reflected in this collection with its images of deer and the use of British flora – such as oak leaves and acorns, along with geometric blenders, all in natural colours.
This is the one-yard panel from the collection and is made up of large block which can be used as cushions or as part of a quilt or sewing project.
It features a majestic stag, and a geometric design on each block. The colours echo those used on the coordinating fabrics -soft and earthy, autumnal shades of rust, yellow, greys, blues and dusky pink.
It would be beautiful made up as cushion covers, but could also be incorporated into a quilt.
The colours and designs make this suitable for a masculine quilt, or it could be made more feminine too.
100% cotton
Panel measures 44 x 36 inches approx; each block is around 20 inches square.
