Jane Alcock will be your tutor for the day and teach you the Folded Star technique. This looks a very complicated make but is surprisingly simple to construct – once you know how – and makes a beautiful cushion cover. Changing the colour and patterns of the fabric used will give you a really different look every time. Made in Christmas fabrics it would make a wonderful gift too.

This is an opportunity to work with Jane Alcock to learn to make the design of the Folded Star block.
Ever popular, this can be made in fabric colours of your choice and makes a fantastic block to use as a cushion cover, or a bag.

Great for a present, especially made in Christmassy fabrics for a Christmas gift for someone special.
All The Corner Patch workshops, classes and Sit & Sew sessions are held in the newly air-conditioned workroom above the shop.

Janome M100QDC sewing machines are provided for students’ use, along with rotary cutter, rulers and cutting mats.

Please bring your own basic sewing kit if possible. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.

Other dates are constantly being added, but please contact us if you want to attend a particular course but you can’t make the available dates.
