Three new dressmaking fabrics are now in stock in a soft chambray denim.

Chambray is a tight weave fabric made from cotton or cotton blends.
It is made with two differently coloured fibres, one usually being white, which gives the fabric its distinctive slightly mottled appearance.
This is a lightweight fabric making it perfect for summer clothing, but also good for backing quilts.
The texture is soft and smooth.
These are a soft blue/grey colour, some with a white stripe.

This is the fabric with a small narrow white stripe against the mottled denim blue.
The stripe is very narrow – just one thread – set about 1/8th inch apart
