Classes & Workshops

Classes & Workshops
We offer a range of workshops and classes suitable for all ages and abilities unless otherwise stated. The programme for 2019 can be found below.

We have introduced some new topics in response to requests so you will now find bag making and some general sewing and dressmaking classes as well as patchwork and quilting.

All our classes are taught in a friendly and informal atmosphere; numbers are limited to a maximum of 6 per class to ensure you will receive a lot individual attention and can progress at your own place. For dressmaking and some other classes there is a maximum of 4 people to allow space for cutting.

You will need to bring a basic sewing kit with you, e.g. thread, scissors, pins and fabric marker and you are welcome to bring your own fabric. We provide rotary cutter and cutting mat and rulers and use of one of our Janome computerised sewing machines.

Whilst we do provide sewing machines, you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

We will provide tea, coffee or cold drinks (and biscuits) throughout the day, but you will need to provide your own lunch. Lunch can be booked for you at a local cafe if you wish.
For more information and to book contact us by phone: 01785 859360,
email janet@thecornerpatch.co.uk or call into the shop.
