Basic Dressmaking Techniques Workshop

Do you really know how to sew a dart?
Does the thought of inserting a zip terrify you?
Can you add a facing, or bind a neckline?
What about buttonholes?

Spend the day in a small group learning how to tackle all of the above, and go home with samples and lots of tips which will make all these techniques straightforward.
A maximum of 6 students means that you will get lots of support and guidance to build your confidence.

All The Corner Patch workshops, classes and Sit & Sew sessions are held in the newly air-conditioned workroom above the shop.

Janome A100QDC sewing machines are provided for students’ use, along with rotary cutter, rulers and cutting mats.

Please bring your own basic sewing kit if possible. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.
