Fireflies Pattern Patchwork Cushion Workshop

Wendy Sweetman, of Sweet Patches, is a new tutor to The Corner Patch and teaches her own designs.

This time she will teach the Fireflies pattern – make it in batiks for a dramatic effect, in more subtle fabrics for a muted effect, or why not use Christmas fabrics for a festive feel.

You can make a cushion cover, a table runner or ‘go large’ for a full-size quilt.

All The Corner Patch workshops, classes and Sit & Sew sessions are held in the newly air-conditioned workroom above the shop.

Janome A100QDC sewing machines are provided for students’ use, along with rotary cutter, rulers and cutting mats.

Please bring your own basic sewing kit if possible. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.

Other dates are constantly being added; please contact us if you want to attend a particular course but you can’t make the available dates.
